This amazing time in my life is a testimony to “Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow” 

 

Every morning that God wakes me up, I see brand new mercies that I've never seen before, and I've got sense enough to realize that it’s not about me being so good, rather it is my heavenly Father granting me another day to get it together; and another opportunity to lift up the Name of Jesus everywhere I go.

Two weeks ago after leaving church, I stopped by Starbucks to get a lemon sliced pound cake, as I do every Sunday, and while I was waiting to get served, I saw a mother and daughter at the opposite end of the counter; and I noticed the younger lady Oxygen tube extending from a shoulder bag; and my first instinct was to wait until I get home and pray for that young lady.

 

It's something about God's timing and His nudging to get something done and accomplished. God didn't stop the nudging until I did what He told me to do, and so I walked over to the young lady and her mother to share an encouraging Word of God; and when I did, the young lady had the brightest smile on her face and she and her mother thank me for those encouraging words.

 

I said all of this to say...be ever so ready to witness to someone on-the-spot because the world is full of gloom and despair; and because the world is filled with unsaved people that are used to the darkness, and we, God's children are the lights of the world, its high time that we get off of our own soapboxes, shake off whatever we need to shake off and go to work in Jesus Name.

 

You see while we are sitting on the sidelines weak in our faith, literally questioning God about His timing and His will for our lives; with an ungrateful heart and a bad attitude for what He has done for us and you can't see it...Please! We better fall on our knees with adoration and praises to God and watch Him do a work in you and deliver you in His timing.

 

How do I know that...Because I was on the sidelines licking my wounds and missing out on my blessings. While I was looking down, my blessings were over my head sent from God. I allowed the enemy to stop me in my tracks, and I Thank God for giving me another chance with all my heart and being.

 

We need to dispell the notion that everything God does in our lives is about us...It's Not! God is sick and tired of His creation parading before the lost like we have just arrived, and do you to know something that is not funny...the world knows all about us, and they know our darkest secrets that eventually will come out in the wash.

 

Lord, create in us a clean heart and empty the weight of guilt for things we have done or not done, for things we have said or failed to say that has crushed somebody's spirit; and we have yet apologized and ask for forgiveness.

 

Lord. change our hearts from hearts of stone and give us hearts of flesh. When we are filled with hatred, fill us with Your love. When we are complacent about Your love and goodness, nudge us to have a closer walk with you.

 

Lord, when we are headed down the road that looks like a sign that indicates "No Return," guide us with Your GPS (GOD POSITIONING SYSTEM), to return home to our first love for clear direction, and lastly Lord, help us to continually put on the mind and heart of Your darling Son, Jesus Christ, who paid our sin debt in full, and to whom we dedicate our lives.   In Jesus Name Amen
