MAY THESE WORDS OF MY MOUTH AND THE MEDITATION OF MY HEART BE PLEASING IN YOUR SIGHT, LORD, MY ROCK AND MY REDEEMER

(PSALM 19:14)

The times we live in are troublesome times.  Some days we're up and some days we're down; some days are cloudy, and some days are bright sunny days.  People are losing their jobs, natural catastrophes, and uncertainty in what the future holds.  In today's economy there is little hope for the future; however, God is never caught off guard or by surprise.  God knows the future.  You are not the only one that has felt that there is no hope.  Even people in the Bible had their times when they wanted to give up.

There is nothing on this earth more certain than hope in the Lord.  Our God is surer than the rising of the sun and the going down the same.  Just read these verses of hope, and think of yourself in the place of "I" or "We".  Where is hope found?  It is in Psalm 119:81 "...I have put my hope in your word", and Psalm 130.5 "...in his word (the Word of God) I put my hope".

Here is real hope!  When you read the Word of God, you can know for certain that you have a secure and certain future; and when you have faith in God who created us, you will come to understand that He will never leave us nor will He ever forsake us.

He is our anchor in the present and for the future.

I pray that this devotional site ignite your faith in God; that you will chase after the things of God; that you will have a spirit like Caleb when he said, "Give Me My Mountain"; that you will hold on to God's unchanging hand; that you will always remember, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame; But wholly trust in Jesus' Name."

"On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand!"
